Roel Schaart
I love challenges and I do not like wearing ties. Direct and empathic, always with a positive outcome in mind, that is how I walk through life. As a Dutchman, it is in my nature to be direct, yet always with humor and packed with love. During my work as an expat in Greece and collaborating with people from all over the world, I came to know many cultural specifics which have been incorporated into my coaching sessions and sometimes allow a completely different perspective on certain situations.
Due to my experience and in-depth expertise, gained and expanded in more than 20 years in international leadership, I am acutely aware of the many challenges that executives are facing today. My goal is to show what changes can be made and how they lead to optimum results.
It gives me new energy every day when I support people in increasing their impact. For example, one of my coaching clients told me at the beginning of our collaboration: "I have been totally tired for the last two weeks and was unable to do anything, didn't want to do anything and nothing worked anymore.” At the end of our session, he said, "Wow, I'm so happy you're here. Now because of the coaching I have regained my energy and I know exactly what I want to do. And I want to do it now!" These moments show me that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do. My great passion is empowering leaders, gaining more impact - with clarity and plan, with focus and solutions.
Another source of strength is my family. I live in Bremen with my wife, our wonderful daughter, and a cat. And when I'm not working, I enjoy the time off keeping myself fit with obstacle races, CrossFit and endurance sports.
